Who we are?
Wish1UP is an iOS app for saving a personal wishlist. Developer: Yana Lizghova. Contact: [email protected]
What data we collect?
- Name and nickname - entered by you, editable, optional
- Birthday - entered by you, optional
- Profile photo - if you add one
- Your Lists' content - item names, photos, links, prices, and notes you add
- An anonymous account identifier - a random ID, not tied to your real identity, used to recognize your Lists, manage sharing, and let you block abusive users
- An anonymous device identifier - used only for the "Reserved" feature (to tell which device placed or removed a reservation on someone else's List), not linked to your identity
- Rewards progress - which badges you have unlocked and the coins they awarded
- Referral information - if you open the app through an invite link from another Wish1UP user, we store the anonymous account identifiers of both people, so the reward can be credited to the person who invited you
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) - only if you allow tracking when iOS asks you. See "Attribution and referrals" below. If you decline, the app works exactly the same
How we use this data?
- To make the app work: store your Lists, sync them across your devices via iCloud (CloudKit)
- To show your name or nickname to other people when you share a List and they get access to it
- To send notifications (e.g. reminders or information about access to a List)
- To run the Rewards and referral features: track your progress toward badges and credit an invite to the person who sent it
